What dress should I get for 8th grade formal?

I'm not sure if I really want to go yet, cause I have a feeling it will be stupid. You know, just a bunch of girls grinding in a circle because they are only going to play rap songs.. maybe one or two slow songs.



But anyway, the theme is ';Paradise Under the Stars'; so I want a dress that would go good with that theme..

I want a short ';party'; dress that is still school appropriate.



and it needs to be as cheap as possible.

As for the shoes, the heel height and shape would be great for dancing and comfort considering your age you probaly aren't experienced with high heels. Plus you will be able to pair these sandals with other outfits for more then one use.
