Why is this somewhat a Sin?

Dancing



- Some say its a Sin others don't



- I think dancing is a form of Fun and Expressing yourself. How could it possible be a Sin? But wait, their are tons of different dances like Grinding for take. Grinding is a form of dry sex right? so Um can that be a Sin because I love to grind with girls on the dance floor it.



By the way its just dancing......

dancing leads to sex, and sex is bad, something not to be enjoyed.Why is this somewhat a Sin?
No it isn't. People used to get all freaked out about it because way way back in the day when Christianity was getting its start (where ';dancing is a sin comes from';) Pagan religions would have intricate rituals that often times would include some kind of dancing. This was seen as an affront against their Christianity because dancing meant you believed in other gods.
with some activities, its not only what you are doing but the reason why you are doing it. if dancing is a form of expression of happiness or fun then probably not, but if it comes from sexual immorality ie there is a sexual connotation then yes it is probably sin.



apparently, anything not done for the glory of our lord is a sin :( when i read that i got quite depressed
