I think Latinas are much better at dancing then Caucasian girls because Latinas have grown up with dancing in their lives. One of my best friends in Latino and she's told me that when Latinos get together with their families and things of that nature, they always dance. So Latinas have grown up around dancing all the time and it's in their genes.
Not saying that there aren't any good Caucasian dancers out there because there most definitely are. It just depends on your body and if you know how to move it or not.Why are latinas much better at dancing?
Latinas may be better dancer than many caucasians, but they are not better than the African Americans

Anyone that enjoys spending a lot of time dancing will likely get good at it. If dancing is more intertwined in your family, then you probably started dancing more complex dances at a younger age. It has nothing to do with your race or gender.
LOL! I'm Latina- well, Hispanic...lol! I'm white w/ a light mexican tan. u can't really tell, but people r shocked when they find out i'm hispanic! It's funny! And yes i do agree that us LATINAS knw how to dance (I'm american too, but i have to say that African Americans and Hispanics/Latinas really knw how to dance) They can dance Hip-Hop and break dance. I mean, have u seen the Music videos? They're soo good! They can shake it and move 'em hips! Hey, i can't lie!!...my opinion!! We can move our Hips!

its not only latino...if you practice or naturally good at it..then it is awesome.
Im latina and I think its coz we are more feisty, we always/usually express our emotions and we love dancing coz its really expressive, and we love men and we love expressing stuff to them! whereas tons of caucasions find it a lot harder to express their emotions, and so find it much more uncomfortable dancing.
also, latin people touch each other a lot, coz its a sign of expression! we always touch people when we like them. caucasion people dont really do that coz its just not in their culture. like a latin greeting is a hug and a kiss and a caucasion greeting is more likely a shaking of hands!
we're also generally fairly comfy in our own skin coz latin people all for loving who you are and for being who you are and not being afraid and stuff and your brought up like that all your life so u know ur defects and strong points.

Probably because the culture tends to accept and promote the sexualization of women. Lets be honest, in most Latin American countries sexual objectification at an early age is the norm,don't believe me watch TV in Brazil or Peru..they have 14yr olds dancing like salsa inspired strippers, This acceptance of overt sexuality tends to limit peoples inhibitions.
No inhibitions=nasty on the dancefloor.
Haha. If grinding is your ultimate test of dancing abilities then I don't know what to tell you. You might be intersted to learn that Russians win all Latin dance competitions, like Cha Cha and Rumba and other dances like that. Russians are caucasians (well mostly anyway). And Russians hug too when they great each other. It is all matter of opnion: I might think that Russians are far better at dancing because I like how they dance.
Bottom line: think before you generalize.
